Count the 3rd Annual Carstens Farm Quilt Show as a huge hit with everyone!
It is always fun to see the different quilts and quilt projects that make their way to Carstens Farm for the Quilt Show which is held during Carstens Farm Days. This year, there were 42 quilts and 6 table runners and quilted projects on display.
Once again, Jan Hursey and Marilyn Evans put a tremendous amount of work into this project. From coming up with the idea for the pattern for the quilt to be raffled at Farm Days this year, to convincing 22 area quilters to donate a block for the quilt, to collecting the blocks, hand-piecing and then hand-quilting the quilt to organizing the entire event and helping to keep each other same throughout the process, they did a fabulous job. Our thanks to each of them.
